You can assist the Ecological Monitoring & Assessment (EMA) Program & Foundation achieve its goal of fostering collaborative partnerships to implement responsible land stewardship policies for a more sustainable future in a variety of different ways:
• Make a donation.
The EMA Program is supported primarily through ERDENE and the Techonology and Research Initative Fund at Northern Arizona University and revenue generated by research projects, thus general funds are always appreciated. EMA is a 501c(3) non-profit organization and all contributions made to the EMA Foundation are tax-deductible.
• Contribute to the ongoing dialogue
EMA encourages stakeholders, including the interested public, to get involved in the creation and implementation of new projects. Contact our office to learn more about how you can become involved.
• Provide a student research scholarship or internship.
Students are Northern Arizona
University’s greatest asset and largest base of extraordinary talent. Undergraduate and
graduate students in every field across campus are looking for new ways to get involved in their community. The EMA Program has several opportunities for student participation. See our Student Programs to learn more.
• Participate in a research project.
The EMA Program is currently involved with a variety of research projects throughout the Colorado Plateau. Contact EMA at 523-0716 to talk to a research program coordinator about how your skills and interests could best be utilized in our research projects. Volunteer opportunities are available!
• Support the Wild Bill Ecological Center.
The Center will offer students, educators, and researchers the opportunity to experience the natural world and will embody EMA’s mission far into the future. A donation will make you part of the legacy. To make a donation, fill out and sign the donation form and send it to the EMA office.
