As part of EMA’s mission to disseminate information to public and private land managers, the organization publishes various informational materials throughout the year. It is actively engaged in outreach activities with the regional community to increase public knowledge of the surrounding landscape.
Printed in the fall of 2006, Navigating the Green Road is a comprehensive guide to the environmentally related programs and organizations located at the University.
EMA bi-annually publishes the EMA Monitor, a newsletter dedicated to updating the interested public about the organization’s most recent programs and accomplishments.
In October 2006, the Program published the latest EMA Annual Report, which highlights the completed projects of fiscal year 2006.
In conjunction with The Nature Conservancy and Arizona Game and Fish Department, EMA published a brochure entitled “The Importance of Grasslands in Northern Arizona” in the fall of 2005 highlighting the status of, and threats to, northern Arizona's grasslands.
In November 2005, EMA sponsored a special session and panel discussion on building successful collaborations for rangeland conservation during the 8th Biennial Conference of Research on teh Colorado Plateau. This short publication, Building Collaborations for Rangeland Conservation, summarizes the knowledge and efforts brought forth to the conference by each panel members.
