The San Juan River Basin Program includes numerous research opportunities with the living laboratory of the San Juan River and the surrounding landscape of the Four Corners region of the Southwest.  Students and researchers can design projects that focus on environmental and cultural concerns that meet the needs of local and regional natural resource managers such as the Bureau of Land Management, giving students the opportunity to contribute information that will assist in making sounds decisions about the health and future of the Colorado Plateau ecosystem.
