About EMA

The Wild Bill Ecological Center will be a living laboratory and gathering place for ranchers, scientists, land stewards, teachers and students of all ages. The facility will showcase sustainable processes and serve as a research, education, demonstration and training center.

The ECOSA Institute, in collaboration with the NAU Construction Management Program, has developed an innovative model for the future Wild Bill Ecological Center.

The design team embraced historical and cultural aspects of the site—ranching, logging, railroads—to strive for a balance between indigenous and historical dynamics and the ever-evolving realm of modern learning and technology. Please contact the EMA Program if you would like to make a donation to the Wild Bill Ecological Center.
